主 题：Pareto-improving tradable bottleneck permit (TBP) at a merging bottleneck
内容简介：As a first-best pricing scheme to minimize social cost, TBP is however not always Pareto-improving in that it may harm some drivers. The objective of this study is to investigate and design Pareto-improving TBP schemes for a two-to-one merge bottleneck. This talk presents the concepts of TBP, Pareto-improvement, and the specific design solutions.
Professor Ronghui Liu is the Professor of Networks and Transport Operations, at the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds. Prof Liu has over twenty years' research in transport network modelling and traffic control. She is the inventor of the DRACULA traffic microsimulation suite of models, and served as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions of Intelligent Transportation Systems, IET Intelligent Transport Systems. Her research in traffic network modeling and microsimulation is world-renowned: she has recently been elected as the first female member of the International Advisory Committee of the ISTTT (International Symposium of Transportation and Traffic Theory).
